If you’re not getting the results you want, let one of our personal trainers develop an individual program based
on your goals, taking into account your exercise history, any previous injuries, medications or other conditions that may be present. The trainer will then give you the knowledge, the motivation and the support to  LOOK BETTER! FEEL BETTER! PERFORM BETTER!

                               SEDONAFIT CHOICE

If you have been trying to lose weight and keep it off for years, we have news for you. Your plan is not working! Perhaps you should try one that does.

There is so much contradictory and confusing information out there that it’s hard to know what to do. Losing weight is difficult enough, and keeping it off is even more challenging. That's why we started the SedonaFit Choice Program. This twelve week program will help break the weight gain/loss cycle with permanent change. It includes a two day workshop, group follow-up meetings and weekly individual coaching.

Our team includes a psychologist who coaches behavior change and a medical doctor  who specializes in healthy weight loss. That means we give you the real, medical and scientific facts about the risks of being overweight, and the proven ways to remedy the problem. 

But any weight loss plan that’s going to work for you needs to be your plan. That’s why we don’t just “tell you what to do” – we work with you to develop a personalized plan – and then we follow up with you on a regular basis, providing coaching and support to help you keep with that program – for a full twelve weeks after the initial weekend seminar! Coaching and follow-up is the SedonaFit Choice difference!

                                           RESTING METABOLIC RATE TESTING

This test quickly and easily measures your unique metabolism, providing an accurate and scientific measurement of the number of calories you burn at rest each day. During the test, the air you breathe out is analyzed to determine exactly how much oxygen your body consumed. This is how your metabolic rate is measured. Once completed, your resting metabolic rate will be combined with your exercise and lifestyle energy requirements to calculate your Target Caloric Zones. These Zones provide powerful information to help you lose weight. Fee: $60

VO2 TESTING

This test measures the volume of oxygen your body uses at different exertion levels while you exercise on a bike or treadmill. This is done as you breathe through a mask while wearing a heart rate monitor during a short workout. The recorded information is then used to calculate the following measurements:

  • Peak oxygen consumption
  • Calories burned at different heart rates
  • Aerobic & Anaerobic threshold
  • Target Intensity Zones

Exercising at different levels of intensity will meet different fitness goals. Some intensities burn more fat, some increase endurance, and some focus on strengthening your heart. Target Intensity Zones pinpoint your specific target heart rates required for you to exercise at each level. You will work out smarter, not harder! Fee: $99

30 Minute Nutritional Consultation                               

This is a great choice if you have a specific nutritional topic that you need help with.  Examples include:  Supplementation, vegetarian specific concerns, proper amounts of protein carbs and fats and hydration requirements.   Fee: $30                  

60 Minute Nutritional Consultation

For more in depth topics that take longer than 30 minutes to address. Fee: $50

 

Basic Nutrition Package

This package includes a Resting Metabolic Rate Test and two 50 minute sessions with a nutritional specialist to create a plan based on your current level of fitness and specific goals. Fee: $149

4 Week Nutrition Package

This package includes a Resting Metabolic Rest Test and weekly 50 minute sessions with a nutrition specialist to create a personal plan to reach your goals and keep you on target. Fee: $209

Toni Munoz, Clinical Director, has been a Physical Therapist for twenty-five years and is highly skilled in a wide range of therapies - from myofascial release to lymphatic drainage to cranial sacral. Her holistic complementary therapies include Therapeutic Touch and Reiki. If you’re like most Americans, you already know that regular exercise and a proper diet are good for you, but you're not consistently doing either one. Our habits have been a long time in the making, so knowledge alone may not be enough to get us to change our lifestyle choices. That's where a wellness coach comes in.

Professional coaches have long been recognized for their skills in helping athletes and executives perform at their best. Now professional wellness coaches are helping people reach their best health and well-being

The process of wellness coaching progresses through several stages:

    1.  You provide background information through a well-being assessment so that you and your coach are well-informed on the key issues, including medical considerations.

    2. During the first 60-90 minute coaching session, you identify your priorities and develop a personal wellness plan including a vision, three month goals and the first steps.

    3. In subsequent 30-40 minute coaching sessions each week, you and your coach review the progress toward your vision and goals, explore and resolve the most pressing issues, learn something new, and then agree on a set of goals for the following week.
